    Gold! Is it Really Worth it All? is a full-length (1hr 50 mins.) stage musical in two acts with music and lyrics (20 uplifting & entertaining songs) by Geoff Noble & fast-moving plot by Susan Shillingford. In 2007, Whistling Fish Productions produced an enthusiastically received staged reading with costumes, projections and memorable performances by a company of 11 singers, actors and musicians including Victoria based Karel Roessingh Trio, singers,Geoff Noble and Kyla Ward, and actors Damon Bonetti and Charlotte Northeast.

    The show is a compelling tale of adventure and intrigue. Young Will sets off for the northern gold fields and Magnet City, where, after having fallen on hard times, he discovers true love, and the truth behind his father's disappearance. This exciting show features a backdrop of northern lights and archival images of the gold rush days in northern Canada circa 1898-99.
